I'm a 1L. Grades are about to come out at my T14 and I'm trying to emotionally prepare for the worst, just in case. Anyone have any encouraging stories about increasing their GPA 2nd semester if they did not perform as well as they liked 1st semester?
Plus advice about how you did it?

Not at a T14, but at a T2 law school - put in a lot of work but wasn't focused on the exam first semester and ended up with a 3.3. Busted ass second semester and got a 3.9 that semester which brought me up somewhere near a 3.5. Currently a 3L and sitting at a 3.7. So its possible - just try and learn from your mistakes.
