I'm a 2L who will be working at a Delaware "big 4" this summer.
I've taken contracts, tax, and secured transactions, and I'm taking corporations and business drafting this semester. My knowledge of how businesses and corporations operate doesn't extend very far beyond those courses. I would really like to have a better understanding of how corporations and businesses generally operate from the business side of things before this summer. I.e., I was stupid and didn't take much in the way of business, econ, or finance classes in UG.
Are there any good books or sources I could read to become more familiar with those subjects, or at least those that would be most relevant to corporate lawyers? Thanks for any input.

Re: Business/Corporate Literacy
The best thing you can do is to read the chancery cases, particularly the valuation-bent ones (e.g., post-trial entire fairness and appraisal cases). Taking corporations might be enough (because only the aspiest partner/associate would expect a SA to understand corporate governance/finance), but if you want to go the extra mile, you could stay up on "hot button" Delaware-specific issues by reading one of the corp litigation blogs (e.g., Pileggi, chancery daily, etc.).
