Struck out at Columbia. What to do now?
Straight B's on all my classes. Not even a B+. I'm honestly flabbergasted as I thought I had done well. What am I supposed to do now?

This is striking out?
So you're in the bottom half of the class after one semester. There are plenty of threads on this topic, and you'll have the same considerations as anyone else: how much you want to be a lawyer, debt, ability to turn things around next semester, ability to find a job with average or below average grades.

Re: Struck out at Columbia. What to do now?
this thread title is insensitive and inappropriate
like 40-45% of each 1L class gets a B
you can recover and get a great job at EIP

Striking out means not getting a job.

Seriously, OP, stop being so dramatic. Below median at Columbia is probably fine for a NYC BigLaw job anyway assuming you're not super socially awkward.Br3v wrote:Striking out means not getting a job.
