Does a B look better than a "pass"?

Post by iliketurtles123 » Sat Nov 21, 2015 11:08 pm

Trying to decide if I should take a class pass/no pass.

Would getting a B be better than getting a pass when employers look at transcript? What about B-?

Pass is better than B/B-. P/F classes don't affect GPA (at least that's the case at every school I've heard of), and employers care about GPA not your specific grade breakdown. B and B- contribute to sad GPAs.

If we're talking about post-OCI with an offer in hand, then if you just don't fail most employers will not give a shit what you do in school any more.
