HLS: Will you get a warning if you miss too much class?

Thanks so much in advance!

Assuming that attendance is even checked. I'm just curious about people's experiences with this and how they know this. Curious if you'll get a message before something drastic happens, like being failed or getting a low pass.

I was in a class last semester where about half the class didn't show up from like late February to May. As far as I know, the professor didn't care.
