You have nothing to worry about. You will not fail your C&F evaluation. This is not a big deal.

Shameless Bump.

thesealocust, thanks! I guess I'm just worried because FL is notorious for being difficult with C & F.

what candor issue are you even talking about. It wasn't delinquent. Do you think the bar is going to ding you because they were wrong about something? I don't even understand the fear here.
It was apparently mistakenly marked delinquent - so it is listed as having been charged off even though it wasn't (I paid the entire balance). I did know my father filed for bankruptcy, but had no idea it impacted my account. I was 18 at the time. I don't know, I think I'm just really paranoid right now after hearing FL horror stories. I printed my credit report (where it is not listed) to send with my amendment. I'm getting a letter from the company. Hopefully you're right and this is a completely off base, paranoid worry.

If they just sent you a letter and aren't asking to interview you before the full C&F committee (assuming they do that in FL), there is no reason you should be currently panicking.

Just to update for anyone curious. Despite some financial issues, I passed C & F in FL without a hearing at all. I was authorized to be sworn in the day results were released. My advice is to provide everything you possibly can documentation wise. I provided statements, letters to and from the creditor, a credit report, and more. I believe that is what saved me from a potential C & F nightmare.
