Air Force JAG Corps? Forum

Has anyone considered/joined the USAF JAG Corps? If so, how was it? Did you stay long?

I'm currently applying for the one-year college program. I have the basic details from the website, but I'm looking for the deeper issues that the recruiters won't tell me. Any advice is helpful.

1. Is it easy to go from military life to civilian legal world?

2. How is the military/traveling life on a marriage (with and without children)?

3. Why did you pick USAF over other branches? I understand the Army is drastically cutting its size.

Read the Military Law thread. There are a number of USAF JAGs posting in there, in fact the most helpful person is a former AF JAG. Perhaps you can get an AF specific thread started, like they did with the Navy JAG thread.
