3.0 at a T20
I didn't do as well as I had hoped to do first semester and ended up with a 3.0 (B-, B, B, B+). Am I totally screwed? What are my chances at getting paying jobs for the summer?

Get off TLS and go to the library. You have 1 semester to make this back. 3.0 + 4.0 / 2 = 3.5, which = job land.

Yes, not totally screwed. But I don't think 3.5 at a t20 will virtually guarantee a 2l SA...

Paying jobs for this summer? 0 percent chance at a large firm if that's what you're asking
3.5 wouldn't be in amazing shape for a firm job either, in fact you'd likely be on the outside looking in. It wouldn't be a cakewalk even with a 3.7.
Whether you're totally screwed or not depends on what kind of job you're hoping to get.

3.7 is likely to land him a job. I don't think it's a cakewalk at any GPA.

Oh that's a sigh of relief for OP. He just needs to get a 4.4 this semester lolTookDaBait wrote:3.7 is likely to land him a job. I don't think it's a cakewalk at any GPA.
