I have his CivPro supplement, are the video lectures worth it as well?
Also, dumb question, but how exactly do I download/watch the lectures? Barbri's site is a mess.

He covers the broad topics well and is a good check/review for the big topics but it doesn't come close to making up your prof's lectures or exam prep. It's really just big picture stuff and gets you started on an outline skeleton.jj1990 wrote:I have his CivPro supplement, are the video lectures worth it as well?

The contracts lecture is more exam-geared. I found the crim one to be pretty much useless.
It's all under 1L materials.

I totally disagree about the lectures. I barely understood anything about civ pro all semester when I took it. I had Freer's supplement, and while great, it was very detailed and I couldn't figure out how to take the concepts and write a good exam. The lectures were amazing. He created an analytical framework and I was finally able to see how everything worked together and how to attack exam questions. I ended up with a high grade in civ pro because of it.pancakes3 wrote:He covers the broad topics well and is a good check/review for the big topics but it doesn't come close to making up your prof's lectures or exam prep. Different things work for different people though. I'd recommend watching the lecture to see if you get anything from it, but to stop if you don't find it useful.
