The. Most. Debt. Ever.

Post by mehiguess » Tue Oct 21, 2014 2:44 pm

Going to graduate with over $200K(250-280) in debt. Good job prospects doing midlaw Personal Injury. Realistically though, can't I find a gov't pay back option and just keep the debt manageable. I may never pay it off but it doesn't have to be life crippling. Anybody doing this? Thoughts?

I was reading up on it and apparently I'm ineligible as I have borrowed before Oct. 2007. Am I reading this right?

Income Based Repayment is the ticket (until it probably blows up down the road but we'll be grandfathered in so should be all good if they axe it)
