Employment Law Supplement/Practice Exams?

Post by girlrunning » Sat Oct 18, 2014 8:10 pm

I'd love any recommendations for a good employment law supplement, possibly with hypos or a good place to find practice exams. We cover breadth, but not much depth (employee vs. independent contractor, at-will employment, oral and implied contract rights, etc. etc.). My law school has separate courses for employment discrimination, labor law, Worker's Comp., etc., so this is basically a primer.

I searched the forum, but only found suggestions for employment discrimination courses or labor law. Maybe I missed something?

Thank you!

I bought the kindle version of Understanding Employment Law which I was pretty happy with. My school also has employment discrim and labor law as separate classes. Happy to share my employment law outline from last year if it could be even a tiny bit helpful. :)

I like 'Principles of Employment Law' in the Concise Hornbooks Series. Short, very clear explanations, spoon-feeds you all the relevant tests.
