tune-out thread

Post by 03152016 » Thu Sep 11, 2014 10:56 am

bump this thread when you're in class and you've completely tuned out

we're on minute 50 of applying a rule about legal duty
to a hypo in which people standing around a pool see a child drowning
and after much careful thought and vigorous debate
it turns out the rule is applied exactly as it reads

what are you tuning out right now

The class is locked in a longwinded hypothesis about distinguishing fraud from puffery (which I thought we covered in 1L, but whatever, here we are rehashing it anyway), in the case of a salesman falsely representing that a TV is the same model as used in the White House. I am checking TLS and playing with my fantasy team.
