Lawl School competitive d-bags
Generally, I'm happy with my school up to this point and have made a few friends that I already know are going to be part of my life for years to come. However, I've noticed there's a good amount of competitive d-bags in my section who are pretty rude. I try to be as polite as possible and outside of my 4-5 buddies in my study group, I try to keep to myself but some of these people are straight up assholes. Now, I am on a huge scholarship (only 20% of entering class got scholly. Retention rate is pretty good) and I don't need to be top 10% to get the job I want (local prosecutor). Doesn't mean I'm not gonna give this my all but what I mean is I don't feel the pressure to land a biglaw job that only the top 5-8% of us are going to get and feel like I gotta step on people to do that. How does one deal with these idiots and more oftern than not, do you think these are the kind of lawyers that end up with alcoholism? Lol

If someone in your section is a hyper competitive dick, just don't interact with that person. Seems pretty straightforward.

Lol I'm halfway trolling in this post. Have you come across any d-bags at your school thus far?TheSpanishMain wrote:If someone in your section is a hyper competitive dick, just don't interact with that person. Seems pretty straightforward.

It takes literally 5 minutes to meet an asshole at law school.Young Marino wrote:Lol I'm halfway trolling in this post. Search thread for "law school"
Replace with "life"
Remedy = "deal with it"

It seems as though they gathered all of them and put them in my section though.KD35 wrote:It takes literally 5 minutes to meet an asshole at law school.Young Marino wrote:Lol I'm halfway trolling in this post. YM woke up bright and early today and needed to stealthbrag about his TTTT scholarship in four different threads. Move along.TheSpanishMain wrote:If someone in your section is a hyper competitive dick, just don't interact with that person. Seems pretty straightforward.

From what I hear, that's what happens when you choose to go to a school with crappy employment outcomes.
