Not doing moot court, probably doing law review. Anybody have any experience planning a trip over 2L winter break? Huge conflicts?

I went on vacation over winter break 1L, 2L and 3L. They ranged from 7-10 days each. I did LR 2L. There were no conflicts of any kind for me. I viewed winter break (after mid-Dec finals through early January) as one of the few times during LS I could actually relax with no LS commitments. During summers, there are SAs to worry about and now studying for the bar. IMO winter break is the perfect time for a trip. Have fun!

Winter breaks are the only safe periods to take holidays. Even if you have LR, you can likely work ahead and work around your vacation.

The only conflict is probably taking time away from job apps, if you don't have one already. But everyone needs a break. Go for it!
