Congratulations on graduating. It is a significant accomplishment and you should be proud. Now it is time to begin the grueling few months of bar prep. Yes what you have heard is true. It will be stressful, tedious, hard work. It will be boring and frustrating and scary. But, I would like to tell you that I was in your position a year ago and everything is going to be just fine. I was a ball of stress for the entire process. I freaked out that I was not ready, and I worried so much about my bar results after the test was over. I gave myself nightmares and probably pissed off everyone around me with my worrying. By the end I had convinced myself that I failed. I passed comfortably.
What I want to tell you is this. Don't worry. Just do what you've got to do every day, and stick to the program, and you will be absolutely fine. There IS time to have a few drinks with your friends on the weekends. There IS time to watch a movie or veg out in front of the TV at night. You CAN allow yourself to take some breaks without feeling guilty. If you stay current on your bar prep materials, everything is going to work out for you. Do NOT let your life be completely consumed by the bar exam and worrying about how you will do. There is about to be a frenzy of people on here freaking out and spreading their fear and stress all over the forums. Don't fall victim to this like I did. Just keep doing what you've got to do, and it's gonna be okay. When the bar exam comes around, you will feel like you're not ready. You are ready. Unless you're taking California. Then you're screwed.
I wish you the best of luck in your bar prep.
