Westlaw: can you narrow search whether P or D won?
Would love to know if there is a trick in westlaw (or even lexis) for some way to be able to filter search where you only see cases that went for plaintiff or vice versa...I'm guessing this is wishful thinking

You can filter results and just type something like: reversed /p ruling, or affirmed /p judgment, or (use your imagination and specific language you're looking for).
It won't be really helpful because language like "affirmed" will bring up opinions where the court makes analogies or distinctions or uses "affirmed" in a parenthetical whenever the word judgment happens to be in the same paragraph. It's not going to save a ton of time, but it's the only advice I can offer. As far as I know, no such search function exists.
