NJ/NY Character and Fitness

Post by iamthegodofhellfire » Sat Mar 01, 2014 5:30 pm

A couple of potential black marks:

Being fired from a part-time job in college for excessive absenteeism

And credit card delinquency-not making payments for a few months (no excuse, just short on money). Sent to collections, but now out of collections.

Now, NJ only wants to know if you have been 90 days late on a credit card payment in the past 12 months. It's technically been 13 or 14 months, so I might not say Yes. But if I do say Yes-I've cut down the debt by about 1200 and now am less than 2000 in credit card debt (a couple more late payments though, oops). Would I be ok?

Just disclose and explain. It's the people that don't disclose minor issues that get into serious C&F trouble.
