What kind of TTT law school exams have maximum grades?
Unless you just mean what %score of the top score in the class could still net you an A?

I took it as a top score %ile.
I never found out my raw scores really, but there were a few finals that I was shocked to get an A on. Particularly Civ Pro, where I realized after walking out of the final that I had missed an entire section of analysis on an essay, and still grabbed an A.
Property was weird - I had a professor who gave a very B/W, right or wrong final. Missed two points, and got on A-. People must have rocked that final.
