I received an e-mail from Barbri yesterday suggesting I register for the MPRE. It noted the deadline for the cheaper of two registration fees was today. I tried to register but the website declared that all testing centers were full and offered me a spot on a wait-list.
Do any of you have experience with the MPRE wait-list? Did you get to take the test even though you were on the wait-list? And if you were not able to get off the wait-list, was your registration fee refunded? (I'm assuming it was not).
I tried calling the numbers provided on the MPRE website but the voice at the other line tells me the "number is not in service." Very useful. I'm hoping somebody here has some answers.
Thanks in advance.

Re: MPRE Waitlist
Yeah. That's not ideal, but I may have to.
Strangely LSAC doesn't directly address this question on their website. The closest they come is stating that if you are "unable to test on the date for which [you are] registered" you must re-schedule for another exam and "pay the full prescribed fee." While this arguably answers my question, I feel like they are addressing the applicant who elects not to take the exam. If you CAN'T take the exam because you registered but LSAC never gave you a ticket, I wonder if the result is any different. I doubt it. But that's why I posted - hoping somebody had actual experience that would demonstrate differently.

So what did you end up doing? I'm on a waitlist for November....

Re: MPRE Waitlist
To be frank, I completely forgot about it.
I'm going to try to sign up for the April test. But it sounds like you registered for November pretty close to the opening of registration and yet still got thrown on the wait list - this isn't very encouraging.
