Are you sure that these two classes are different at your school? If so, what is the description of each?

I don't know about your school, but at Northwestern both classes meet the same requirements, the only difference is that BA covers more stuff about Partnerships, LLCs, etc.

Nope... you should not be allowed to take BizAss (btw, if this word become popular like SecReg, please credit me) if you took corporations.

1) You probably could benefit from taking Business Associations if you're going into corporate law, especially if the class focuses more on LLCs, LLPs, S Corps, etc. that straight C corporations. Maybe not enough to take an entire extra course, though.
2) To learn about AIII, take Fed Courts. Beware though, it's the most gunner class imaginable at almost every law school that teaches Fed Courts.

My school offers Corporations and "Agency, Partnership, and the LLC." Due to scheduling issues I can take Corp. this fall but not APLLC, so I probably won't take it at all within those more advanced courses under my belt.

And they don't allow you to take both.Kikero wrote:I don't know about your school, but at Northwestern both classes meet the same requirements, the only difference is that BA covers more stuff about Partnerships, LLCs, etc.
