Of the million concerns about law school, I'm sure this ranks pretty low. But I am genuinely curious if it is ok to wear a shirt saying "I went to X Univ" when you now go to law school at "Y Univ." Do students, faculty, etc. care about this, or is it irrevelant as long as you make good grades? Thanks.

I'm sure no one would care. I probably wouldn't rock a Gator shirt at UGA, but still I would wager that no one cares enough to make it an issue.

I will say, having gone to MSU Law, when I'd see someone wearing their UofM shirt because they went there for undergrad, I thought it was a douche move. Oh, proud you went to undergrad there, but couldn't get in the law school, huh?

People do it here (NU) all the time, particularly during football season. But everyone who wears their UG school stuff also tends to wear plenty of NU stuff.

Nah bro this is real. The shirt you wear can only help or hurt your game. If you wear a Harvard shirt at Cooley, girls will be riding you like you are a god. The only obvious issue is choosing a shirt from a school that is your current institutions rival.

On a serious note: seeing as a law school student may out themselves in up to 250k debt. I don't think the clothes you wear should be on your lists of worries.

damn i don't think its that terrible of a question. yes you can op. no one cares what you wear in undergrad. as someone that does't wear the status quo clothing like ralph lauren polos everyday and tight ass jeans i know what it feels like to be a little different. no one will really care what you wear just be yourself. sorry about all the hate you got i don't really understand it.

DIII college athletics is the last bastion of higher level pure aestheticism. They play with solid fundamentals and a unblemished love for the game.


It's the same reason women's basketball is superior to men's at every level above HS.
