As I was reading this blog post, I was getting madder and madder at how much better current applicants will have it, then I got to their third trend and realized it was all just trolling.

The first two points are undone by the fact there are already too many grads and law students than jobs. Even on that BLS super optimistic job growth chart, it was still the case... But I should be sure to register for a few seminars on NAFTA and the Hague Conventions.... That will certainly make me BIGINT'LLAW secure.

The legal employers will skip over the grads that have not made it into a law firm or other employment. So I do think those entering school now will have a slight advantage. It's not huge, but I would rather have been applying now than when I did a few years back.
