Without hearing more details about the internship and details about why you think this will lead to an employment opportunity its hard to say, but chances are you should absolutely not give up what you have now.

Well most ADs are lawyers, so I'm guessing it would be somewhat helpful. However, it's a long shot that no 2L should consider.
