do you need a period after id, if u use parenthetical?

greetings TLS

final paper due very soon like many and im a bit confused

if we use id

"see id (holding that blah blah)"

do we need a period after the id?

"see id. (gorkgorwkgrowk)"


also, its undercased right?

Yes, you always use a period for id. In that example, yes it is not capitalized. Think of it like a sentence. If it is beginning a sentence it is capitalized, if not then it is not capitalized.

The period is also always italicized / underlined, depending on what form you're using.

Check "Id." in a legal dictionary or on Wikipedia...

Your writing suggests you'll have bigger problems than the period after the "id".

or "id"

i guess, does the same apply for signals to id? or is just "id." better
