So brahs, thoughts on wearing a low-cut top and push-up bra during finals? Distract ~50% of the curve with my curves, bwahahaha...

I'm a little worried too, since this semester is worth a lot more credits.brotherdarkness wrote:Good post, PL.PinkLotus wrote:CSWS'ers, I wanted to bring your attention to this great thread on TLS for law students struggling with depression, anxiety, etc.:

Personally, I'm worried about the possibility of burning out. Wasn't an issue last semester, but this semester is different. My classmates seem to be feeling it, as well. Between classes, briefs, final exams looming in the not-so-distant future and the job search, our plates are full.
On the bright side, at least the uncertainty of fall semester is gone--I know where I stand, what works, what doesn't etc. On top of a personal tragedy in November (discussed in that thread I posted), throughout the semester my low self-esteem was kicked into overdrive. Upon hearing the eloquent things my classmates said in class, I thought I was not smart enough to be here and could not possibly compete with them. I was beset with a ridiculous amount of insecurity. Now I know that even though I went to an undergrad no one's heard of and got a 164 on the LSAT, I am just as capable of the folks here who went to HYPS etc. undergrad with 170+ LSATs.

Re: OFFICIAL 1L Exam Prep & Motivation Thread (CSWS)
YO, I got some opinions on this. I burned out periodically 1st semester. Including on the eve of finals, during finals, etc. The key is to keep up all semester, plant the seeds of knowledge, that way you don't have to rely on some compressed time period where you can't foresee how you'll actually be feeling. Law school does not require all nighters or Herculean displays of endurance. Just a little bit at a time. I like to call it "layering." What you do in the grind leading up to finals is continue to add layers on what you picked up during the semester and filling in the holes.PinkLotus wrote:I'm a little worried too, since this semester is worth a lot more credits.brotherdarkness wrote:Good post, PL.PinkLotus wrote:CSWS'ers, I wanted to bring your attention to this great thread on TLS for law students struggling with depression, anxiety, etc.:

Had to google "spoon pics" lol (don't frequent bodybuilding forums)
Will do, but instead of holding a spoon, maybe a CSWS sign?

And agreed to everyone repping solid pacing. Aside from this brief, I've yet to put in 6 hours of work (class time doesn't count) in a day, but will gradually uptick that number as finals near.

Frankly spent more time on BBMisc (also MauriceGains there, give me a shout if y'all are aware) and watching American Horror Story than working this week. Mad, not even once.stillwater wrote:I watched a shitload of netflix the first half of last semester, maybe first 2/3s.MauriceGains wrote:Lmao, that would work! Or one that says, "U mirin?"
