LRW study aide? help with synthesized rule Forum

any advice on the best study aide for legal research and writing? i'm specifically having issues getting my rules precise enough. it is hard pulling out the factors from the cases and figuring out the policy rationale. at aspenlaw there are 64 books http://www.aspenlaw.com/search/search.a ... %20Writing in the category so i dont even know where to start... i like E&E in general but i saw a review of the LRW E&E and it said it was terrible. i'm really looking for a book that just focuses on creating the rules for each element...
