I'm on LR, MC, and spent the first 3 weeks of classes doing nothing but OCI/callbacks/mass mailing. Some kid doing nothing extra will have literally 3x as much time to spend preparing for each class and I'm supposed to compete with that.

Assuming you aren't trolling, you prioritize. LR+MC=Death wish. It's a nice problem you have, but I'd be crying myself to sleep at night over it. I suppose you pick what's most important to you and do that the best. Personally, fuck getting published. Turn in an acceptable note it and keep the gpa up. You likely can't do all at a high level. Choose what's most important to you. Callbacks should be finished soon. Some normalcy will resume. At least this craziness is going on at the beginning of the year and not some time in late November. I had 2 classes where I never bought the books at all. Hell, in trial ad I read the problem I was supposed to present in the book the girl who sat next to me had 15 mins before I was supposed to go up. 2L, don't care, and honestly, no one really cares and you'll still pull a 3.2 at minimum anyway.
