LEEWS Audio vs. LEEWS Primer

Post by ZombiesAhead » Sun Aug 12, 2012 1:08 pm

Not really an auditory-learner and I'm working my way through the LEEWS primer.

It's dense but I'm getting it. I tried listening to the audio for an hour or so and it moved incredibly slow.

Am I missing anything by not listening to the audio?

I'm the same, can't learn through audio. I ripped through the Primer. I think I extracted the useful nuggets. Probably would be better to do it properly with audio or class. But I got something out of it.

I would say you get a lot more out of the audio than just using the primer.

Absolutely not. All he does on the cd is read the primer to you and work through the hypos. In the primer, he gives explanations on the hypo's. So your not missing anything. I bought LEEWS full price $175 and if I had to do it again, I would have just bought the primer. Plus, the cd's put my ass to sleep!!

It took about 3 or 4 days from what I remember. Pretty quick.

Definitely worth listening to. "Put it in a blunder." Wentworth Miller, that motor boatin' SOB!

used the primer... didn't even read the whole thing. mostly focused on the section where they tell you, step-by-step how to break down an exam (objectives, conflict pairings, legal arguments etc.). was well within top 10% after first semester at a t20.
