Why did your publicist think an AMA was a good idea?

Did you fail out or just realize that law school wasn't right for you?

Not giving specific school.rad lulz wrote:Where? When? Why?
After 1L grades were released.
Because my 1L grades were atrocious and I hated law school.

So a 176.9? That doesn't seem drop-out worthy...T14dropout wrote:.1 below median after first semester, even lower after second semester.Bildungsroman wrote:How bad were your grades?

No interest in the material, having to read many hours of said material every night, the cold calls, the general douchiness of the student body, the non-stopping cramming at the end of semesters (and then forgetting 90% of it right after the exam), the crushing stress over knowing that I had to make median or near it to get that coveted biglaw joblaxbrah420 wrote:Why did you hate law school?
And the fact that I sucked at it probably contributed as well

Well maybe all the doom and gloom being pushed on scamblogs and on TLS is convincing the wrong people to drop out.

Still undecided, lining up my options. I had a decent UG major I could try to get a job off, or maybe go in a totally new direction. The freedom from the law school grind is definitely amazing though.

I was at the bottom of my class. Probably not a great idea to stay on.SchopenhauerFTW wrote:Well maybe all the doom and gloom being pushed on scamblogs and on TLS is convincing the wrong people to drop out.

Do you think you derived any benefit from attending law school?

Re: Dropped out of a T14 law school, ask me anything
It was quite humbling. I thought I could just waltz in there and finish at least median. But there are people there who are as smart as you who will work a lot harder than you, if you let them.Broseidon wrote:Do you think you derived any benefit from attending law school?
Pure talent/intelligence can only take you so far in LS, I'd say most of it is just the dedication to a goal and going about achieving it.
So I guess I did learn that the hard way.

Re: Dropped out of a T14 law school, ask me anything
If you do not want to disclose your school, can you narrow it down to a T-14 cell. Even with less than stout grades it isn’t all that impossible to land somewhere pretty decent, especially in the upper 14. You must have a A-, B+ here and there, right?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
