I've tried calling my financial aid office a few times, but they are too busy and, being abroad, its pretty expensive to keep trying.
Simple question: Can I forgo federal loans at the beginning of the year, and get some during the year if I need it? Or do I need to guess how much I need at the beginning of the year and accept that amount?
Im pretty sure I can avoid taking any loans this year, but I would like to have a safeguard if necessary.
Any answers appreciated
