Nope.
+1, which is how I know dude is in my section, and dude was trying to turn our conlaw exam into a group project. Dude's old posts (which he took the liberty to erase) were also quoted in other posts.
I'd probably say something if this was more serious, but a) fuck that, I'm tired, and b) having to ask TLS for help probably doesn't speak well for your grade.

If you didn't study for the con law final and think you're gonna bomb it, report it.

So uhh, do honor codes require those who know about this to report?

I'm going to assume yes. I want to see how this turns out.

This thread has to be a flame. OP posts a question about his take home exam, and he almost immediately gets caught and called out by one of his classmates?

Maybe the classmate was also scanning TLS for an answer to his take home question?

Chances are slim, but possible nonetheless.

Does this mean beachbum is also in on the flame?

Personally I'm of the opinion that you can never underestimate idiocy, so I'm inclined to believe this is legit. Funny either way though.

Are you saying that his "classmate" was a flame? He joined back in October of 2010...that would be a flame a long time coming.

I just think it's weird how his classmate's account is now inactive. Like...why?

No idea. Maybe he didn't want to do anything and was afraid he would get in trouble for spotting it and not reporting it?

It's not a flame and I'm slightly pissed off about it. It was a 27 hour open universe Con Law exam at Duke, with the sole stipulation being that you could not consult a "sentient being." Part of the first question dealt with what OP asked. It was a 2 section class. Beachbum's section took the exam Sunday-Monday (he posted about it in the 1L Exam Prep thread), my section took it Thursday-Friday. One nice thing about the OP is that it looks like he (she?) had no idea what the question was asking based on how he framed his question. Normally, I'd just let this stuff go, but if his (her?) stuff was still accessible, I'd do as much research as possible to out them. Really? Open universe, and you break the only rule?

Sounds like whoever is in the class ought to report it. Chances are someone probably already has and it might be a violation of the honor code if you guys knew about it and didn't report it.
To add: seems like one of those things nothing can be done but the professor may find out about and be like why didn't you guys come forward type of deals

This is why I'm not overly concerned with the OP. If he had posted the full question, or had otherwise posted something moderately intelligent, I might be a little more proactive. But dude doesn't seem to have fully understood the question, and he didn't get any meaningful answers/feedback. Still a pretty shitty thing to do, though.
On the other hand, I didn't even consider being bound by the honor code to report stuff like this. I mean, shit, if I am bound by honor and duty to destroy OP, what choice do I really have, right?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
