3L: how to get ready for the bar exam?
I hope someone could chime in.
I'm a 3L and have been slacking off for almost a year. I barely go to classes; use minimal efforts for assignments; etc.
My very last finals are around the corner and I have no motivation to open my books at all. I feel tired when I think of reading for finals. For several times, I tried to go to the library and hoped to do some reading there. But I ended up surfing the Internet and reading facebook.
I am worried that I will fail the bar exam (and lose my job accordingly) if I remain the same.
How can I switch from this 3L mode to the bar-exam-prep mode? Any suggestion?
Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. BarBri will teach you everything you need to know. I know it's natural to feel nervous about this thing, but most people who put forth a diligent effort for those two months pass easily. My summer mantra last year: minimum competency, minimum competency, minimum competency.truevines wrote:I hope someone could chime in.

Step one: sign up for BarBri
Step two: show up and dont's sleep.
That's all I've got.

Bar prep should be more tolerable than Studying for Law School Exams.

Not necessarily. Some states give an award for getting the highest score.hasmith wrote:The bottom line is that you are not trying to get an "A" on the bar exam.

Can you imagine what kind of insufferable prick would let other people know he or she had won that award?Cavalier wrote:Not necessarily. Some states give an award for getting the highest score.hasmith wrote:The bottom line is that you are not trying to get an "A" on the bar exam.
