is it safe to assume grades won't be posted this week if the building is closed because of the holiday? All 1L grades are due by Jan 6th, however I'm assuming that professors don't have the power to add the grades themselves, and it goes through the registrar's office first before being posted?

If they're due by the 6th you'll have them no earlier than the 9th

you are welcome

Law professors don't give a fuck about deadlines, tenure baby. There is zero percent chance before Jan 6.

My deadline is Jan 11th. Ugh. Need a transcript for a JAG app that is due on Feb 1st.

Actually all of my 1L grades, save for one, came out by the deadline. A lot came out a week or so early.

Professors, at my T1, can enter grades and do the whole blind-grading thing online, and do participation bumps electronically as well. Or so I hear -- this is all third-hand knowledge.

Thanks to this thread I checked my grades on a whim to see if they were up. Freaked out thoroughly (heart pounding) when I saw numbers. Then I realized they were the unit amounts. :|
