Wouldn't top 1% inherently mean you got the top grade in the class? Unless you somehow have more than 100 people in your section...

Argh, I feel like I did while waiting for admissions responses. I've been checking for my grades obsessively like I checked status checkers back in the day. I'm not helping myself. It probably also doesn't help that I flew home to my parents' house so I'm stuck in suburbia without a car. SOOOOO bored.

Grades are required to be posted by the 13th, but some post earlier. My civ pro professor is famous for posting his grades late. I guess last year when someone emailed him about it last year, he sent out an email to everyone on the class roster with a picture of his dog rolling around on the exams on his living room floor.

I might not have grades, but as of last night,I do have a job for this summer. Two actually. One legal. One not. I'm going to be clerking for a judge in my home town and moonlighting/weekending at the restaurant I used to work at. Hurrays. Now I just hope I don't have some kind of weird lackluster grade on my transcript that will bar me from my job.

congratulations! Still sending in cover letters and resumes for jobs but really waiting on test grade in one class for high-demand research position as first choice...

Nice. I'm going to try to moonlight too if I end up working for a judge. I wouldn't worry about grades knocking you out of the judges chambers -- it isn't like they are paying you.

Had another grade dream last night, got an A- in Crim and my friend got an A. Wasn't mad tho.
Then things got weird, we were all going to the subway for some big party to celebrate but this girl who was in my section in the dream (though I don't think she actually exists IRL) told me to leave, I wasn't invited. Even in my dreams I am Forever Alone. But I didn't care, at least I got an A-.

torts dream last night. i was going in to take the final and i had to sign in beforehand with my professor and the whole scene took place in my basement. then after i signed in i had about 45 minutes before the test started and realized i hadn't really reviewed so i went upstairs and started reading the torts book and felt worried that i didn't know as much as i should have, then i woke up. now i've had post-finals dreams about all four subjects. make it stop

I'm jealous.. I think I'm the only one not having post finals dreams. I haven't really thought that much about law school since finals. But I think I'm going to crack open the property nutshell tomorrow to get a headstart on next semester(or just drink some more).
