Joining this thread, finished finals. Trying not to think about my finals really, and I have no idea how I did. If I had to guess now, I would guess I got 2 H's (out of 5 classes). I'd be pretty satisfied with that I think (I think the median is 3 Hs out of 10 classes 1L year, but not quite sure on that). Would be very happy with 3 H's and above, and disappointed with 0 or 1 H only. I guess we'll see.

Made the mistake of talking to people about exams and comparing. Now convinced that I am below median in Property and Torts.

Yeah. I know. So how to you get your head right? Because the anxiety is killing me and I'm pretty sure that's the opposite of how it should be right now.

So while we wait for grades, what are your school's grade distributions for A range grades?

Mine is 15% minimum, which really exceeded my expectations. I thought only literally top 5 people would get an A grade, turns out it is more like 15ish.

I think ours is supposed to be between 5-10%, but professors have the discretion to condense the curve and give fewer high and low grades.

Someone at my school got a grade. Even though that person wasn't even a 1L, I'll be checking every 15 minutes from now on.

Now that exams are over I wonder if the two harder tests (that everyone, including me, said were freakishly difficult) will be detrimental or advantageous (I finished all 19 pages and not everyone did) or if the two easier tests will be detrimental because of the curve (hard to predict winners if two dozen people are jammed into a photo finish).

Guess I belong here. Thought all of them went reasonably well when I left the room. Since then, could see anywhere in the top 3/4, but would be slightly disappointed with less than top third. Thought Torts would be my best, but that one was 10 days ago now, and I think of a new stupid mistake every day.

I was thinking of my possible mistakes everyday in between exams and only forgot about mistakes on previous exams by thinking about the mistakes of my most recent exam. Utterly mindfucked. The only saving grace is that in a little over 6 hours I will be done, for better or for worse.
