I don't think I flunked this time. I learned my lesson going around wallowing in failure land. I don't think it went as well as last semester but I'm trying to optimistic/not trip balls like last time. There is some minor tripping but I'm not trying to go down the road of despondency like last semester. We will find out soon enough and there isn't exactly anything we can do about it right now.

I am pretty sure I completely bombed Community Property. Felt like a total space cadet during the last hour. If I typed words, I would be pretty proud of myself.

Fairly confident my paper was readable and passable. Jokey 3-unit class was also doable, easy grade distribution was livable.

But I got creamed on corporate tax and Evidence.

My Civ Pro professor was a total stoner when he was a law student. I really hope he gets stoned before he grades my exam.

also almost cancelled my lsat, was totally 100% convinced i bombed. 99th percentile and 9 points higher than my first lsat (which i felt great about afterwards).

that said, i still can't shake the feeling that i actually did badly on all of my exams. not expecting above median for anything :(

Ended up getting an A on this test last semester. Will never trust the way I feel about a test ever again.

Last semester I felt great and bombed.

This semester I feel very "meh" and hopefully I'll do better but there's not a whole lot of fucks I have left to give.

Last semester I had a pretty good idea of my relative performance between classes, but no idea how I'd stack up to everyone else. This semester I can't even tell you which class I thought I did the best/worst in. But I'm strangely apathetic/at peace with the whole thing now, so whatever. Probably won't worry about grades too much for the next month or so, which is fine by me.

All I can say is that I just got out of my property final and I want to cry. I did well on our midterm and thought that was going to help me, but I have no idea what just hit me. I still have two more finals next week and can foresee my GPA really dropping this semester, and i was thinking about transferring, but I guess I should forget about that.

I expect that my torts professor was also. He told some very uncomfortable stories about his time as a student at Yale and Berkley in late 1960's when we were discussing how colleges and universities have no duty to rescue their students from risks they didn't create. Yikes.

First semester I felt like I CALId every class except one, which I thought I failed. That one ended up being my best grade and the others I got median-pwned. This semester, felt like I failed every single one. Hopefully inverses are true in law school like lots say they are.

I've somehow lost the ability to feel anything after law school exams. The only thing I think of afterwards is whether I want steak or carnitas on my Chipotle burrito.

Owned civ pro and constitutional law. But I feel like I failed fucking contracts. My answer for 30% of the test was "No mistake because he assumed the risk." Not sure if agreeing to a damage liquidation clause = assuming the risk.

Oh, and I said the liquidation clause was a penalty because it was like 5x the other party's expectation interest.
