Re: 2L exam prep thread
My first final tomorrow is a Texas Civ Pro final. 75 M/C questions asking you to apply specific rules to certain fact patterns.
No idea how to study, so I am just making a giant outline with all my class notes that I am going to tab like hell.

What's a good resource for Business Associations/Organizations/Corporations multiple choice questions?

Just put me out of my misery now, please. Staring at the E&Es is doing nothing for me. I'm officially burnt out.

I found bombing my bankruptcy exam this morning disturbingly ominous for my future.
I won't even be prepared to handle my own when the time comes.

First exam is a week from today, and I just about finished my outline for it. Was surprisingly efficient in getting pretty much the whole thing done over the past 3 days (I should have been outlining throughout the semester, yet I slacked off). Makes me feel a little less worried about the approaching shitstorm. Perhaps I can get lucky and swing a B+.

Started my outline for a class today and our exam is next Monday. Everything else is done, but it's now a race against the clock to get this done by then. 2LOLkaiser wrote:First exam is a week from today, and I just about finished my outline for it. Evidence final is creeping on me, anyone have any tips/tricks for studying a pure multiple choice/short answer evidence final? Anyone have any MC exams with answers from their schools they wanna lend me? I'm down to dig around my school's exam bank and trade for classes you want/need!

Re: 2L exam prep thread
i have the outline for my second exam done but not for any of the others...i am not outlining for my first exam bc its pass/fail---I need to learn the crap though. will dedicate 2 days to it. hoping to have all my outlines completed by wednesday..reading period starts thursday. I feel like if I am doing only practice questions/pre writing answers during reading period I will not have totally wasted the semester away. if i am still outlining during reading period, it will be time to worrybeach_terror wrote:Started my outline for a class today and our exam is next Monday. Wrote an entire outline for secured transactions, decided I hated it and started over. Haven't looked at Antitrust in over a week and barely started that one. 2LOL? .

So, yeah, my Admin professor? He gives one issue-spotter and one essay per exam. Last year, his essay was:
An alien lands from outer space and looks at the american judicial system and remarks "how strange, the courts defer to agencies for matters of law, where the courts should be experts, and the agencies defer to courts for questions of fact, where the agencies should be experts."
Discuss.
Fuck. Me.

That's a cool essay question, how is that scary? Breyer's critique dawg.kalvano wrote:So, yeah, my Admin professor? He gives one issue-spotter and one essay per exam. Last year, his essay was:

I finished an exam today and decided to take a nap and work out rather than study. I outlined 3 pages for a class I skipped over 90% of the time and I'm relying solely on outlines some 3Ls sent me. I haven't looked past page 10, but they're long. I have two exams in the next three days. Hooray me.
edit/epiphany: All I do is win would be a great bar review song.
All I do is gun gun gun no matter what
Law review grade on, I know I'll make the cut
Everytime the prof asks a question, I don't give a fuck
My butt on the front of the seat, my hand goes UP!
AND IT STAYS THERE (x3)
up/down (x3)
Cause all I do is gun

Haha awesome. At the same time I think this might be the least useful epiphany ever when facing 2 exams in the next 3 days.Omerta wrote:edit/epiphany: All I do is win would be a great bar review song.

When you lose your shit over Admin Law, the Beermann book is a great supplement. Keep that little Top Gear Top Tip tucked away.

Hope my profs don't care about spelling. Lots of lulzy misspellings today.

I had PR, Jurisidiction and a one-credit Bankruptcy class. Made my schedule light on purpose with OCI and everything that comes with it. Secured took up a lot more of my time then Antitrust, but that could be the way it's scheduled at my school.traehekat wrote:what was your schedule like this semester? im taking sec trans and antitrust next semester... along with crim pro, ethics, and admin.keg411 wrote:Wrote an entire outline for secured transactions, decided I hated it and started over. Next semester is /killself-worthy though (Evidence, Enterprise Orgs, Tax, Family Law and a seminar).

Just looked up the curve at my school. 2l Curve is the same as 1L curve - with the exception of classes under 50 having a 3.1 curve (which is 1 of my classes). FML.

we hve the same curve all 3 years..I think the change comes from lack of effort after 1L
I am almost done w my tax outline...but the funny thing is, I have no idea what the hell is in there. I always understand the one section I am outlining..and then when I try putting the new pieces together iwth the old, I realize I do not understand the old. damn you, income tax.
