I hope you guys do well so you can transfer (since it seems like you both really want to). Kap, are you starting the exam tomorrow?

Yeah. I was going to do it Tuesday but I figured the sooner the better (I also read you're going to take the test tomorrow and that gave me some more motivation.)

The good news is all the high pressures tests are in the past. My grade is essentially already determined. There is no reason to dwell on past exams. I'll put in my best effort tomorrow and be content that I know I tried my best during 1L. If that's not good enough, too bad.

Yeah, I was going to put it off till Tuesday too but there's no point because we can't really go over past tests effectively with no answers available or do anything else to prepare, so why wait. Also I think I want to go to the 1L party on Tuesday night so I'm going to take it early to leave the option open.

I thought dissents existed for the sole purpose of filling up class time.

actually, if i'm still here next year, it's because i did really well. only way i transfer is if i fall outside the "ideal range" that i think is competitive here.

Pretty much the same thing. Another split, so there's no prevailing stream of commerce rule. The facts were a little different, though. The company in Nicastro actually targeted the US (unlike Asahi). But, the court, using O'Connor's theory, came down that there was no specific jurisdiction based on the stream of commerce theory, becasue the company didn't specifically target New Jersey.
Well, also Alito (or Roberts?) and his concurrence blasting the decision because of its broad reach that will likely have a big effect on internet sales in the future.

Torts is going to be like a walk in the park after this. (As is write-on, SA, etc.)

Missed an issue on civpro by accidentally deleting it and forgetting to add it back, cest la vie. Overall I think it went well, and since clearly I nailed everything else I should be good. Now while my section friends are out getting beers post final like we usually do, I will be in the library. I know I won't regret it though.
