I have fall break for the next two days and wanted to crack open a supplement in any one of my classes because I am so lost/confused due to not giving a crap. I read the table of contents and closed the supplement. Small victory?

how tough do you guys think it is to get C's 2L year with a 3.3 curve? Seems like you'd really have to try.

It's the thought that counts.

wow I thought I was the only one

I just opted into pas/fail for one of my classes because I am pretty sure no matter how much I study, I will get a C---the fact that my chances of actually studying enough to get a C+ are slim to none, I decided to just aim low and go for the pass

I am yet to go to a single week of classes with all my reading done. there are some classes where I have never done all the reading. one class where I havent read since week 2..but hopefully that isnt a mistake anyway.

I have a scholarship to keep..dnt know wth I am doing

i get re-motivated in my head every night when I am laying in bed. then I wake up, go to class, and sit there sendng emails and reading recipes to figure out what to make for dinner. rinse, lather, repeat.

Retract my earlier post in this thread; I just joined the club.

It somehow didn't hit me until this week that the entirety of my career is basically already locked into place by my lawl school performance thus far.

This thread makes me feel much better every time I see it.

Seriously, I have not cracked a book open all weekend and I have Fridays off. Fairly sure I won't do my readings for Monday.

Its this point that allows me to calm down every time I freak out about how I haven't done the reading, haven't started outlining, have no idea what is going on in the class, etc. I used to bitch and moan about the curve and how it would prevent me from getting A's, and how it would drag me down to a B+ or something. Now, I don't know shit, and somehow the curve will leave me with a B or B+ anyway. So its a curse 1L year, but a bit of a blessing right now.

I've been fine with my reading, but, I'm having an impossible time working on my note, and finding the motivation to study for finals or the MPRE. Also, I've started pretty much taking Thursday night-most of Sunday completely off. Its getting bad.

I just did the entire semester's worth of reading for one of my classes in four days because I was tired of having to read for class. Apparently I work really hard at being lazy.

Insanity, or GENIUS!?

Insanity. Your not gonna remember anything by the time you get to class.

Once the World Series and Halloween party are over, I think my work ethic will kick into high gear. Or at least I hope it will?

It kinda has to... because these random Sunday/Monday/Wednesday drinking binges are taking their toll on my bank account.

Friday: Ate fancy dinner, drank cocktails
Saturday: Birthday party, drank beer
Sunday: Ate nice brunch, drank mimosas
Monday: Went to pool hall, drank beer
Tuesday: Read for pleasure
Wednesday: Read for pleasure, drank wine

Today is Thursday. I have a 30-page paper due next Thursday. Guess whether I've started it.

By the middle of next week, I will be done with both law review and any and all substantive school "work" (i.e. only one more mini-midterm left) until finals. I will then proceed to do absolutely fuck all until late November.

super pissed bc I have to start all over again. this is not helpful, considering I am already totally useless.
