Did someone bring beer again, or are you referring to the last several days?Desert Fox wrote:Does drinking while playing Total War Shogun 2, while AT school count?
I'm currently holed up in the library with a bunch of books that I need to go through for my note. So far, I have painted my nails, watched 2 episodes of Modern Family, eaten sushi, and read about 5 pages of a book.

Aren't you glad I started playing AOE around you so you got the idea to start playing Total War?Desert Fox wrote:Does drinking while playing Total War Shogun 2, while AT school count?

I have a presentation in an hour.
I just watched 6 youtube videos of kids getting new puppies.
Then I came back to TLS to post about it.

Someone just mentioned something to me about being in Admin. I went "I'm in that class!" He then said "Wait...really?"

I have 4 exams as a 2L this year. Are clinics less time-consuming? or what classes are you taking? I need some advice for my spring schedule.Helmholtz wrote:I have only one final exam. Is that like an "evidence?" I've been trying to figure that out all semester.Rammstein wrote:What's "Mediation"?

LOL yes. You made me jelly. Though, I've been rationalizing it by saying it's better than starting Skyrim which has like 200 hours of gameplay.D-hops wrote:Aren't you glad I started playing AOE around you so you got the idea to start playing Total War?Desert Fox wrote:Does drinking while playing Total War Shogun 2, while AT school count?

Re: 2L. No motivation
I would not be a good person to get advice from. Not gunning for a clerkship, so I don't have any kind of classes that I feel like I HAVE to take. Mostly just going with the Legends of the Law route and taking classes from the professors/judges whose names always come up when talking about the most influential legal thinkers (like Easterbrook, Epstein, Posner, etc.). And Steven Levitt (of Freakonomics fame) is teaching a class cross-listed with the law school and the econ department that might be kind of interesting to take.Pato_09 wrote:what classes are you taking? Re: 2L. No motivation
I am also not interested in clerkships - So your classes only have written assignments due, and no final exam?

Re: 2L. No motivation
Instead of doing work tonight, I drank. Instead of doing work tomorrow night after work, I am likely to drink. And here I wonder why I'm stressed and feel behind. 75 page assignments by my teachers that got behind aren't helping either.

Re: 2L. No motivation
I'm trying to pick a mix of finals. Maybe one seminar that requires short papers throughout the quarter and no final paper, one or two seminars or classes that require a long paper at the end, and one or two classes that have a traditional final.Pato_09 wrote:I am also not interested in clerkships - So your classes only have written assignments due, and no final exam?
