Stupid questions...
How do you actually get Westlaw points? Is it by looking up cases?

Look up cases, Keycite, watch webcasts, go to trainings.
They'll send you emails telling you how to get points for that month.

The especially long journal edits will get you to a few hundred searches within a week.
