Mass Email Question
Who do you send your application materials to, exactly? HR? A Partner? Thanks.

The recruiting contact. You can find their information on their website or on NALP. Address you materials to the recruiting contact as well.
Some say you should copy an alumni graduate at the firm you are applying to, some say this is a bad idea. If you have any contacts at the firm at all though, you should give them the heads up that you app is coming down the pipe, and they might be able to give you boost.

I also CC'd the hiring partner if I could find his or her email. Not sure if this is actually a good idea or not though.

The next day, I got a stock rejection email from the person to whom I sent the material in the first place. I was like beat ya to it honey". Somehow im guessing a stock rejecion email doesn't supersede an interview that is already scheduled
