Am I overreacting this?

Post by target » Wed Aug 31, 2011 11:25 pm

Here is the situation: I did my reading for my class way in advance, and I didn't look at them again last night. At the beginning of my class, a classmate sits next to me asked me how many cases we should read. I told him what I could remember, but accidentally left out a case. When the class was going over it, the classmate puzzled, while I was having the case all highlighted and annotated. After class, I apologized to him and all, but still felt like a douche for accidentally giving incomplete information.

Just admit to him, us, and yourself that you did it on purpose.
Then go post this in the gunner thread.

I know I should not think too much about this, but the person is in my section, and it is a small one.

Yes, you are. I didn't actually read your post, but the answer here is generally "yes."

Honest mistake. Apologize ONCE and never bring it up again. If said classmate is still harping on it even an hour after it happened, they need to get over themselves.

I honestly don't understand what the problem is here. Seriously. Why would you apologize?

Is there ever going to be a thread where someone asked if they were overreacting and the answer is no?

Self flagellation is the only way to purify your defiled flesh. May Posner have mercy on your wretched soul.
