c & f question
i was arrested and pled guilty to a minor misdemeanor while in law school. i disclosed this on my bar application. i recently got a letter from the bar informing me that i appeared to have failed to update my law school application with this an requesting i do so. the arrest was actually on campus, and the school knew about it. i met with the disciplinary dean about it. i didn't "disclose" because they already knew about it. thoughts on the severity of this?

LOL at our "profession." At one time we were a bunch of nobles who had respect for the law.

LOL, you will be fine. Sounds like you caught a douche C&F'er. My cousin didn't disclose an assault conviction in NY on his app and just had to explain it in the interview. He's fine .ghghghghghghghghg wrote:yea man i'm looking for real advice or thoughts here. you aren't being helpful.

I'd update the school, then reply by mail to the cf guy that explains the school knew because you met with the dean but just in case you've updated them again...
I'd also talk to a C&F lawyer.

Re: c & f question
Just update it and reply that you have made the update. The first thing they do when reviewing disclosed crimes is look to see whether you fulfilled your continuing duty to update your law school application to keep it accurate. You didn't, and got caught. It (probably) won't ruin your admission, but you failed the first rule of C&F - don't draw attention by overlooking something. You are the reason the C&F guy has a job, and I bet he LOVED finding your discrepancy....

Re: c & f question
1) Make an addendum to your application. I had to do it, it's easy.
2) Write the C&F person and inform him that you have updated the application and explain why you didn't. Say it wasn't meant to hide anything, you just thought you didn't need to tell the school about something they already knew about.
