Pondering important law school question here:
0L female here trying to determine laptop case and book bag options. Is it best to have one large bag that carries ALL of my books for the day and also my laptop or should I have separate laptop and book bags (both could be smaller)? Also, would I look silly using a roller bag and does it matter?
While I would certainly prefer to have 1 or more cute and fashionable bags, I don't want to sacrifice practicality for trend. I would love to have both!
Thanks!

Yes, the roller bag will make you look incredibly silly. However, there will be a number of other girls using the roller bag (I never saw a dude using one).
I use my regular backpack and pack an over the shoulder computer bag for the days that I need a second bag. I only ever needed a second bag during the two weeks before finals. The only reason I needed them during this period is that I was taking more than two casebooks home with me to outline at night. You don't need to take that many books home during most of the school year (and even if you take them home, you won't use all of them, so you'll eventually learn to leave the excess books at school). A regular backpack is sufficient for 95% of days.

I have a plain black Under Armor backpack with a laptop-sleeve built in, will I look like a total tool wearing this? I have a more professional briefcase/handbag kind of deal but was planning on reserving that for interviews and my summer job and such and just carrying the backpack on regular school days, but I talked to a couple of my classmates and they seemed to think that briefcases would be the norm. I'll be walking to school, so I feel like it'll be a million times more comfortable to use my backpack, but I also don't want to look like an idiot or a middle-schooler.

No one cares unless you buy the roller back pack and aren't 30+, or the backpack has cartoon characters on the back.kjadkins wrote:I have a plain black Under Armor backpack with a laptop-sleeve built in, will I look like a total tool wearing this?
