Otherwise buy a Toshiba. Stay away from Dell.
Be sure to get one with at least 6 hours of battery
Then be absolutely sure to back it up.

I have a Mac (and love it) and would totally disagree with this statement. Macs are great, but by no means should you automatically get one if you can afford it. The extra thousand dollars can go toward purchasing books. Or, booze.morris248 wrote:If you can afford it, buy a Mac.

Well if the booze and books are a higher priority, then you can't afford it.birdlaw117 wrote:I have a Mac (and love it) and would totally disagree with this statement. Dell is only slightly less reliable than Apple. The trouble brands these days are Acer, Gateway, and HP.morris248 wrote:If you can afford it, buy a Mac.

What about Alienware for playing WoW and Diablo 3 (and 4)?
Joking. I'd go for a mac as well, mainly because I dislike the Windows OS and all the crap that comes with a PC, including eventual slowdown and imminent failure!

Re: Laptop
Yes they can. They just generally dont because there a far fewer mac designed viruses. I know mac users who have had viruses, though admittedly far fewer. But if you arent an idiot with what you click on, you wont get viruses anyway.Corwin wrote:Macs can't get viruses either brobport hopeful wrote:So much ignorance.Zazelmaf wrote:What about Alienware for playing WoW and Diablo 3 (and 4)?

I never stated anything about viruses. I just stated I liked them better and they seem to last longer and run faster than windows.

I agree, I don't see the point of these either, as any computer on the market will work fine in law school. Literally, any computer on the market.
