I almost feel like I cheated law school by reaching top 10% because of TLS. I can't help but think that the people who figured law school out without TLS are a lot smarter than us who used TLS as a crutch??

Thoughts?

I'm not sure I ever thought TLS advice was ever helpful, I used upperclassmen.

Thoughts?

Assumption 1: TLS actually helped TLS top-10%ers
Assumption 2: Non-TLS top-10%ers weren't simply lucky in choosing study habits.
Assumption 3: Non-TLS top-10%ers would have benefited if they had used TLS advice.
Assumption 4: TLS top-10%ers shouldn't be credited any "smarts" for finding TLS.

Those were my first four thoughts.

this website doesn't make any difference...its not like you got some secret info that no else got

I pretty much did the opposite of what everyone else says on here is the key to success and ended up top 5% at CLS

Top 15% and I feel the same way. I'm by and large an idiot, and my classmates are all smarter than me. TLS didn't help me though (outside of making sure I didn't feel like a special snowflake going into 1L). The better indicator of success is you were outgoing and concerned enough about doing well to bust your ass throughout 1L. Happening across this site was just the byproduct of that type of attitude.
