Law Preview 2011

Post by legaltheory » Tue Jun 07, 2011 12:27 pm

Who's attending Law Preview this summer? I'll be attending the session in Austin!

Hopefully, people will post their thoughts of the program as they go through it, and then come back and post their thoughts of the program after 1L exams.

If you don't learn how to write a 10 page case brief you're doomed.

Law Preview is a bad idea and should not be attended. Save your money for scotch.

Sweet, sweet scotch.

I disagree. Learning to brief cases is quintessential in law school success. Those who think otherwise are either median or lucky.

Gentleman Jack, ftw. This is very important. Any 0L's reading, take note or you will be striving for a doc review outlet in West Virginia.

It's a bit expensive. Some law schools cover similiar topics during orientation for first year law students. Of course, for those receiving scholarships to attend, it is a great deal if you don't have to pay for travel expenses & hotel to get to the seminar site.

If there is no cost, maybe worth doing. Even then, losing time during the last summer of "fun" sounds like a bad idea.
