moot court v. mock trial

Post by soco688 » Wed Apr 13, 2011 6:42 pm

Greetings -

Curious as to opinions about mock trial v. moot court for 2L year (then possibly doing the other for 3L year).

If I choose mock trial i'm planning on taking a summer advanced writing course for the writing opportunity I'd miss out on for not doing Moot (but I feel mock trial would be way more fun). Would choosing one or the other have an impact on OCI or any other 2L summer employment opportunities? Or do they not give a damn either way?

Obviously also keeping grades up and applying for journals after finals.

Thanks :D

I don't really think either one is better than the other. Both look decent, but not as good as law review. Yours apparently works differently than mine does, though.
