SF Area: Fast passes - How do they work

Post by zeth006 » Mon Mar 28, 2011 10:10 pm

To all my fellow SF'ers, I have a question. Does the Adult "A" fast pass allow for unlimited BART rides for the month given?

Only in SF. Note that the Daly City stop is the first not in SF. Plus, I think you have to pay $10 more for the pass that will take you on BART now.

ETA: The A pass is the BART pass.

Alrighties. That clears things up. I plan to go up and down Market St this summer for work. I'll probably make best use of the monthly pass if my boss really decides to keep me on part-time, which should leave me extra hours to wait tables or take up a new hobby.

Why would you not buy the cheaper Muni pass then? You know that the Muni makes all the stops on Market st, right? There's two subways, the Muni on top of the BART.

I'm confused because you don't have to pay the $2 with the Muni pass, but I'm sure you got it covered.

Church-Embarcadero are the Market St. subway. Unless you live in the Mission, the $60 pass is the way to go.
